Notes: From the artist: This piece is a reflection of a culture that’s been growing in numbers weekly but has no new relevance. Historically, skating has been around since the 1700’s and possibly longer, but since pre-covid, I witnessed the bonding of communities (specifically between the womyn) establish a strong alliance through the art of skating. And that’s hella dope! I felt that it was only right to shed on light on the Queen Culture.
